History

Sheppard Box is a family owned and operated business. The company has been handed down from generation to generation and is currently run by Aaron Sheppard, the great grandson of the original founder.

DURING WORLD WAR II

During World War II, George B. Sheppard founded a paperboard box company called Sheppard Box. At that time, the business specialized in rigid set-up box manufacturing for glassware companies. Under his guidance and direction, Sheppard Box gained the respected reputation of being a company that cared foremost for its customer’s satisfaction and needs. George B. Sheppard instilled this philosophy in his son, George C. Sheppard, who carried it on until his retirement in 1980.

SHEPPARD BOX > SHURE-PAK > SHEPPARD BOX

Sheppard Box was reincorporated as Shure-Pak in 1980 by the founder’s grandson George Sheppard III who maintained the business for over 30 years. During this time the company added folding cartons, corrugated die cuts, plastic die cuts, and a wide range of additional related products After his retirement, Shure-Pak was passed on to his son Aaron.

In 2025 after continued years in the industry Aaron decided that it was time to re-establish a new company under the original family name.

Building on 4 generations of paperboard cartons and packaging related experience; the company has expanded its capabilities even further.

Shure-Pak was founded in the 1940's by George Sheppard.
